After quite a few kilometers we stop at a playground and later at a nice spot for tonight. A nice plate of broccoli. Mirre and Jinte watch the fire that the neighbors have going. Nice German people, we agree to have a drink together tonight.

It turns out to be a very pleasant evening! Nice drink, nice fire, nice people. What is a huge coincidence is that Leonie was in New Zealand at the same time as Mirre 9 years ago. Not that we have seen each other but still! We exchange some tips. They go to where we come from and vice versa.

The next morning we also set off early. We go to Astrid Lindgren Värld. We don’t understand much of most of the stories, we look something up every now and then and the girls are amazed. Pippi Långstrump is really a party to watch. The show starts with Mister Nilsson, a hand puppet, who makes everyone clap at the same time. Very nicely done. But then, who is coming? Pippi Longstocking on a real horse! Exactly the same as Little White. He can also really stand on the porch! Jinte used to watch Pippi Longstocking at primary school so she really likes it ‘in real life’. We are also going to a show by Ronja the Robber’s Daughter, including smoke and fake snow. It is all very nicely done and the entire park radiates friendliness. People are making music everywhere and the characters are cycling through the park. We want to eat an ice cream but it starts to rain very hard. Quickly back to the camper.

Just outside the park we discover that the backpack is still on the table where we just took shelter. Luckily it is still there! Diede has fallen asleep in Mirre’s arms. We load everyone in, Diede continues to sleep and we are on our way.
