We are in Tallinn! Not yet our final destination but the highest point of the Baltic states. Here we will sail over to Finland tomorrow.
A nice campsite. Everything there must be is there and it is only for one night. On the basis of the map we still give “a” answer to Jinte her question where we have been exactly on earth and where we are now.
Then we all take shower and go to bed. On time because we have a boat to get. Just past the supermarket for the last things, we don’t want to do that right in Helsinki.
Compared to Greece, it is a lot more structured here. We love it. Johan performs a show while waiting and on the boat there is another act in which you have to guess well -known characters. Jinte and Diede have no idea but they find it very interesting. Everything is for sale in the shop, so something is being selected from the cents of grandma. Jinte had received them after her hospital visit in Croatia, but so far she could not find anything fun except a bouncing ball. What is incredibly sweet is that Diede could also choose something from her money. That’s really heartwarming to see as a parent.
Furthermore, the crossing is fine! The 2.5 hours are over in no time. We are in Finland!
We actually go out Helsinki right away. Just stopped at a large mall for new boots for Diede and then into nature. We find cities fun every now and then, but after such a day like today you don’t get anything out of two young children. There are also often not that many parking spaces.
We spot the first “watch out for moose” sign, our search mode is activated. Furthermore, Johan is particularly curious about the first campsite while Mirre wonders how things are actually doing here with the amount of mosquitoes.
Keep you posted!
