By boat to the next island. Nice trip. We pass through a few narrow dark tunnels, which seem to be common here.

We decide to do the hike we had in mind for tomorrow today. The weather is so nice!

The toughest hike yet! We climb and climb, Jinte is looking forward to it. She keeps choosing ‘difficult routes’. That’s something she likes to say on the road, we just do the easy thing. We thought we would do a short version but it went so well that we continued. The view becomes more beautiful every step we take, but when we reach the top it is breathtaking. So beautiful to see Jinte’s reaction, she also sees what we see(Check it out!). The most beautiful view so far? We don’t know anymore and it doesn’t matter, we collect beautiful views. We video call with grandma Kikker (Mirre’s grandma), 89 now, and she follows us on polar steps! She enjoys it and so does her neighbor who has just arrived.

The necessary photos and videos are taken and then of course we have to go back. Diede in the carrier and Jinte in the baby carrier. We’ll be downstairs in no time. We started late and it is now 8 p.m.

The sun is still shining high in the sky. There is a lovely playground, where we play while we cook. It’s a bit chilly outside so we eat in the camper. Then it is a short drive to our sleeping place.
