We just miss the ferry. Too bad, but luckily the next one leaves in an hour. We make sandwiches with sausages, tasty and easy. Of course, at such a time when everyone is tired, something must go wrong. Johan takes a cold beer, but it falls on the floor and the can breaks. The beer literally sprays throughout the entire camper and is even on the ceiling. It also squirts straight into Mirre’s shorts from underneath, wonderful. We clean up the worst of it, while occasionally some swear words come out of Johan’s mouth.
We won’t be able to eat before the ferry anymore. The ferry only takes fifteen minutes, so when we get off there, we park right away to eat. We were clearly hungry. Then on to our spot for the night.
Even the spots along the road often have good facilities and beautiful views! A quick run outside while Johan cleans the camper and then off to bed. We make some plans, chat about where the next trip would go and also go to bed. The next morning the gas bottle turns out to be empty. It’s only the second time we’ve had to fill it. Fortunately, this is possible in Mo i Rana, our next stop. To get there, we also take a ferry. This one takes a little longer. We bring our breakfast and eat on the boat. We sail out of the Arctic Circle, once back on land we continue our leisurely journey.
And then it happens, the moment we were so looking forward to! We see our second Moose and this time really close. Our journey is complete folks, we can go home (not for more than 3 weeks).
Just a fruit break, refill the gas and then into town.
