Poland! A funny or actually more sad fact: there are more insects almost everywhere than in the Netherlands. We see that in the cemetery on our windshield and hood.
We stop twice at a very nice playground, in these foto´s you see more playground than nature. Jinte and Diede are amazed at the first one during lunch when a school class just arrives to play. The second is mega large and well maintained. One cooks, the other plays along. We were dreading the many kilometers to Scandinavia, but thanks to these playgrounds, everything wasn’t too bad for us.
We have crossed Warsaw and are looking for a place to sleep. There are few of them around here. The places that are there are almost all in the parking lot of a cemetery. One review stated that there was a knock on the door several times during the night and that the next day Google Translate showed that that person was asking for rolling tobacco. A bit spooky, Johan would have preferred to stand along the highway between the trucks. Completely agree, but those places were also scarce. Jinte has already woken up so we decide to stay put.
We sleep wonderfully and undisturbed. Diede came to stay with us halfway through the night and that was a lot of fun. It doesn’t look as spooky outside as it did last night. Have breakfast and leave soon enough.
