We arrive at camping Reipå! What a wonderful place. Nice and spacious, the weather is lovely. What does a man want more? We look for a spot and soon the owner arrives to ask, very kindly, if we want to straighten the camper. Didn’t the sign say it was slanted? We study the sign together and she understands why we thought it should be tilted. Funny how people can interpret such a sign completely differently. Of course we’ll put it right!

During the day, a lot more campers trickle in. Further on, a Dutch couple with a 4-year-old girl. They were already there. Great fun for the girls! Behind us are two pleasant neighbors. At the campsite they have chickens, rabbits, a trampoline and a nice playground. Unfortunately, the washing machine cannot be used and we need it right now. There is something wrong with the sewer in the building where it is located, causing dirty water to keep coming up.
Fortunately, the owners allow us to wash indoors. Super nice! What a relaxing day. In the evening we drink a delicious Montenegrin wine with the parents of the 4-year-old girl. We share pleasant and recognizable travel stories with each other.

The next day the weather is lovely again, so we’ll be lucky. Johan sleeps in and gets beautiful drawings in bed. The girls are already playing outside before they even have breakfast. While we eat buckwheat pancakes with strawberries, healthy but so tasty! We say hello to Jinte, her girlfriend and her parents, they are also heading south so who knows, we might see each other again.

Jinte and I bake a brownie in the omnia oven and the neighbors also enjoy it.

We watch the Dutch national team, just like the rest of the Dutch at the campsite. The girls play superheroes with a hydrophilic cloth as a cape. We feed the bunnies, play with the owners’ baby and jump on the trampoline for hours. The girls absolutely laugh when we run around trying to grab them.

Jinte chose spaghetti for dinner because ‘dad said so often when we first ate it that he liked it’. What a wonderful child he is. Johan showers with the girls and then goes to bed. The next morning we give an older couple some tips about the Lofoten. They travel with electric Volkswagen vans. On the charger every 220 kilometers. What a hassle, but to each his own!

Johan made a drone video of the campsite and we exchange it for one free night. Awesome! We leave reluctantly, what a nice campsite this was.
