We’ve had quite a few more Camper adventures in Athens. In Athens, the leak was fixed while we stayed in an apartment. We visited the Acropolis—so impressive, and the weather was amazing! We had an incredible meal at a gluten-free Greek restaurant.

The next morning, we headed back to the garage. So great, because they also took care of a few other seal edges while they were at it. Forever grateful that they were willing to do it—and so quickly too!

We debated whether to stay in the city a bit longer, but we were craving peace and nature.

We met up with Paula and Rob at an insanely beautiful beach. What an epic spot. The first day, the weather was perfect. After dinner, they came over for drinks, and before we knew it, it was 2 AM when we finally crawled into bed. Such a great night!

The next day? Rain. All day. Not fun, but at least a good test. The old leak stayed dry, but… now the kitchen window and the small window by the table started leaking. Unbelievable! Thankfully, windows are easier to fix, and Johan managed a temporary solution with some tape.

Today, we finally got to air everything out again, dry things up, and enjoy an amazing beach day. We’ve scheduled another appointment with the garage in Athens—back we go, another Camper adventures in Athens.

Rob and Johan totally hit it off when it comes to camper tech tips. Super handy to have a neighbor who basically majored in camper mechanics! 😉

We decided to join them on a drive to a lovely taverna where you can park for free if you eat at the restaurant. The food was amazing, and the company even better.

Peace has been restored, and we’re getting better at just going with the flow. We’ll simply make a few fun days out of our time in Athens. There are worse places to spend some time!
