We are off the grid, which means we are not connected to electricity. We charge telephones, etc. while driving, the refrigerator can run on gas and we can switch on the lights from the camper’s battery. Super nice because this makes it possible not to always have to be at a campsite, like tonight.

We are in a large parking lot near the hot springs in Përmet. A tip from ‘the Dutch’. The water in these thermal baths is between 22 and 28 degrees. That is something different from that ice cold sea. Although that didn’t stop us from visiting Ksamil, it is a lot more pleasant. Straightened up the camper, put on swimming gear and started splashing around. In the evening we cooked (partly) outside and Jinte was allowed to stay up extra late to spot shooting stars together. Success! Several even, what a fantastic starry sky.

Had breakfast outside the next morning. Back into the water. Pleasant chats with the other people in the bath. Including a Dutch couple, retired and traveled a lot. Jinte had a lot of fun with them. What nice people! The snow-capped mountains with beautiful trees and pink/purple flowers make for a fantastic view! We come out all wrinkled.

Then a quick lunch and on again. We drive back to the coast today, to Vlorë. Let’s see what there is to experience there.
