What a beautiful campsite! For the first time, we booked a day in advance. The Dutch owner drives us around the site in a golf cart. She shows us where we have our spot. Quite an adventure for the girls.
Spot opposite the playground, great! In the afternoon we go and have a look at the beach. Mirre says that the girls have to be careful that their doll and rabbit don’t fall into the water. What does Diede do? Hop, she throws the rabbit into the water. Jinte is completely surprised, you don’t do something like that? Luckily Johan has been on lifeguard training so the rabbit is expertly rescued. Unfortunately, Mr. Rabbit can’t tell the story anymore.
BBQ on and a nice meal with the occasional sun through the trees. Thermacell on because there are considerably more mosquitoes in Sweden. Jinte felt like chatting at the campsite. Most people we speak to come back here every year. It wouldn’t be our thing, although we understand why, it really is a beautiful place! Very spacious, clean and plenty to do.

The next day we head towards a dam where you can see salmon jumping. The map we got from the campsite is a bit amateurish but we like it! The route itself is already beautiful, unfortunately it is not yet a peak in terms of jumping but we still see about five.
Back at the campsite we do some usual chores, make a nice soup and watch the Dutch national team in the evening. They have put up a TV and soon the Dutch and football fans come together. Cosy! Especially when they also win. Mirre calls a friend for a few hours, in the meantime she washes a large pile of dishes and later she walks around the campsite.
It was not such a good night. Both girls had a hard time. Diede ends up with Mirre and Johan with Jinte. Mirre sets her alarm and tries to quietly sneak out of the camper to make a pancake breakfast, because we have something to celebrate! 100 days on the road. Diede wakes up immediately, Johan goes to lie down with her. Jinte continues to sleep and Johan and Diede chill a bit.

After a delicious breakfast that fills us up (they are buckwheat pancakes) we head towards Stockholm! We actually weren’t planning to but we got some great tips about it so we decided to go anyway.
