Greece! We drove off the boat and decided to stay at a campsite nearby. Nearby would mean a half-hour drive. We were driving along and soon we discovered that we had gone way too far. Apparently something went wrong with the coordinates and that’s how we ended up here, Camping Corali. A wonderful place under the olive trees and with a beautiful blue sea right next to us. Everything is still completely deserted or wonderfully quiet, depending on how you look at it. We drove to the supermarket with our bikes, which turned out to be closed, so we went to Vrachos beach to eat a delicious Greek meal there.
We saw our first sunset.

Now it all seems wonderful and so is the view, but if not everyone feels good, enjoyment is often hard to find. Johan has still not recovered and that is why we decided to consult with our own doctor in the Netherlands. They recommended seeing a doctor and so a terrible day began. We packed the camper with pain and difficulty, Johan is feeling increasingly worse and barely sleeps. Fortunately the girls cooperated nicely. On to Kanallaki, on to the doctor. Johan collapsed quite badly. The hospital where we ended up was as if we had gone back in time 50 years or perhaps more. Everything on paper, a curtain in between and someone was stitched up next to it. It was quite an experience, but we were helped very quickly and adequately, so that was great. Diede had a runny ear. Just have it checked as well. Conclusion: Johan gets a blood test and a streptococcal test.
You have to get it yourself at a pharmacy, they didn’t have it, so we took the camper to the next pharmacy. Bingo. We had to take Diede to a pediatrician. On top off all things. The pediatrician was very nice and prescribed drops. Fortunately it was only a starting ear infection, we don’t notice anything else wrong with her. Johan still had to return for the results of his blood test and to take the test. Streptococcus A it is. However, we did not receive the antibiotics at the pharmacy because we did not have the correct pass. Our health insurance card with EU coverage was not enough. Back to the helpful pediatrician. It was closed, “siesta”. Fortunately, the pharmacy next to his practice was able to call him when I was standing at their counter in tears. And so this savior prescribed the antibiotics in the name of one of the pharmacy employees. It is contagious so we have to keep our distance. Well good luck in a camper!

Found a camper place nearby, it was now 4 pm. Wonderful place, so let’s set up the essentials. Goos outside. Oh my, mutts! Tomorrow we’ll leave here and look for a real campsite where we can relax from all this.
