The boat to Igoumenitsa! Where we enjoyed the boulevard in Brindisi, ate delicious gluten-free pizza and prepared for the boat trip to Greece. It all went fairly smoothly. Diede couldn’t get enough of crumpling placemats in the restaurant, but the waiters melted every time they waved at them. Jinte thought boarding was one big treasure hunt, and the questions about why never stopped. We drive Tinus smoothly onto the boat, park it and leave it. We had a cabin on board, we thought we would sleep well. That turned out differently. Diede didn’t feel like it after a short nap in my arms and Jinte also had a fairly restless night because she had been the landing strip of a mosquito the night before. Johan’s throat still feels like some kind of cactus. Fortunately, we have a “tile” in the camper that says: if things go wrong once, things will go well the next time. Thanks to Aunt Tine. Like a kind of mantra in our heads today. On to Greece!

Side note: our camper is called Tinus. Named after the aunt of Mirre’s father (get it?). As an experienced camper, she helped us in our search for our tiny house on wheels. So Tinus.
