We explore nature, identifying animal droppings and encountering a Scottish highlander with large horns. Enjoying pasta outdoors, we continue our journey towards Geirangerfjord.
Averoy
Today’s journey covered diverse terrain, enjoying a meal outdoors amidst improving weather. Despite challenges, the day ends on a high note, with culinary experiments and scenic drives.
Orkland
Despite the rain, we enjoy a campsite in Norway. Issues with water and a new drone arise, but they plan to explore both Norway and Sweden.
Trondheim
We spent the night in Stjørdal and picked up Johan’s Father’s Day gift the next morning. Enjoyed the subtropical swimming pool in Trondheim, found a dress for Jinte, and continued driving.
Mo I Rana
A day filled with shopping for necessities, enjoying sushi at a community center, and night-time shenanigans with the kids, followed by a relaxed morning. Heading south for better weather.
Rødøy
The journey includes missed ferry, messy mishaps, hunger, planning, and moose sightings. Despite challenges, we complete our journey with excitement and anticipation for the next adventure.
Svartisen Glacier
A journey to Svartisen Glacier involves a ferry ride and a 5km trek, encountering cows, and enjoying the magnificent view. Despite mishaps, it ends with applause.
Meløy
A wonderful camping experience at Reipå, with fun encounters, kind owners, and delightful activities. Despite some minor issues, the relaxing atmosphere and friendly connections make it memorable.
Bodø
A day of errands, sushi, and pizza. Following morning, shopping for Father’s Day. Continuing the journey, passing Saltstraumen on the way to camping Reipå.
Værøy
A trip to Værøy with changeable weather, a mountain hike, stone throwers, a scary moment, a satisfying descent, and family thoughts.
Moskenes
The Lofoten trip ends with beautiful weather and scenery. A leisurely day in Moskenes is followed by a smooth ferry ride with a whale sighting.
