After breakfast we get on our bikes. A tough trip takes us to Vintgar Gorge. We are given a helmet, we feel this is more a way to hype the walk than it is really necessary. Anyway, we are never recalcitrant, so we wear it faithfully.
The walk is beautiful. It is a long gorge with that clear blue-green water. Jinte is completely in her element. Diede mainly sees the inside of her eyes. It all takes a little longer than planned, so halfway through we get a bag of chips and an ice cream for lunch. You can take a shuttle back, but we decide to walk. Disappointing, but it’s fun and we’ll make it. Hungry! The restaurant doesn’t have anything gluten-free, so we order an ice cream and have lunch later at the campsite.
The trampoline park at the campsite is finally open. Jinte is very happy. It’s quiet so Diede can go there too and this mother can do it without peeing in her pants.
Some food, a nice shower and Mirre goes to bed with the girls almost immediately. We’ve done so much that we almost forget we came back today.
It´s a slow morning and we decide ton hike to a beautiful viewpoint near the campsite. 6 km uphill and some parts involve quite some climbing and scrambling. Johan already did it this week and it seems to be worth it. It certainly is! Beautiful view over Lake Bled. We eat some fruit and people wonder how we got there with two children and a dog.

A Dutch family has arrived at the campsite. Traveling for six months, we could already see it in the things they were carrying. Three guys in a camper, it could always be worse. No, they are great fun, but the energy level is a little different. It surprises us how much fun Jinte can play with them.

We have lunch, Diede takes an afternoon nap and in the afternoon we rent a boat to sail across the lake. We sail to the island and take snacks with us for a nice picnic.
Pasta, girls to bed, exchanged some tips with the Dutch family, wine and off to bed.
Tomorrow we leave for Ljubljana.
