We drive in stages towards Wijhe, where a friend of Mirre lives. Their son was born just before we left and it was no longer possible to go back and forth. Mirre has been in touch with her husband and we decide to make a surprise visit. She is completely surprised, super nice to meet little Siem and have a chat. They take a look at our house on wheels and then we leave for the farm campsite de Portlander.
What a warm welcome by the owner. Only Dutch people and lots of children. Nice! The weather is also nice. There is plenty to do, mega nice playground, lots of animals. We will definitely come back here. In the evening we all watch the Dutch national team. We had not thought that such a last stop would be so much fun, except for the football.

The next morning we feed the animals together with ‘the farmer’. Diede is not afraid and feeds them like crazy. Jinte has to get used to it for a while but then she also gets the hang of it. Nice to see! Johan has the camper ready and then we leave. Too bad, we could easily stay here for a few more days but we would also like to be home before the rain tomorrow. One last stop in beautiful Rotterdam before we really go home.
