We met with a Dutch family via a WhatsApp group for traveling families in Scandinavia. It’s like a Tinder date, you hardly know anything about each other. They have a boy of 4 and a girl of almost 3. We meet at a P4N (park for night) so after the shopping we drive there. The weather is a bit less, it is dry, but that is all. We have a good introduction, cake. It’s Uncle Bernd’s birthday and of course we had to have a cake for it.

The children enjoy playing outside, if you keep moving it is very doable. We chat about traveling and chill inside for a while. Then we all leave for our own camper to eat. The plan is first to have a drink together when the children are in bed. The girls here are a bit restless, so we decide to stay ‘at home’.

The next morning we go together to Henningsvær, a historic town where we enjoy a nice walk around. Jinte and Milo both enjoy chatting equally, so they found each other.

On the way back to the camper it starts to rain heavily. Jinte quickly lies on Johan’s neck. After lunch we say goodbye, they go north and we go south.

Fortunately, the sun will shine again as we drive towards our next spot.
